The polls are closed, and unlike many state and local government entities, we have no mail-in votes to count, any hanging chad ballots to look at or any missing ballot boxes to find, so we are able to give you an instant tally of the winners.
In first place is,
GARRY S. and his bridge
In second place is,
STEAMTRAINS and his roundhouse
Finishing third is,
SCUBADUDE and his wood cutter's shack
Congratulations to you all for your excellent work, I'll be in touch with you soon so we can reward you with a certificate, suitable for framing and hanging up over your layouts.
Let's give them all a round of well-deserved applause. Let's also give it up for everyone who participated in this challenge. I know it was a difficult decision to pick the best of the best out of all the entries, so everyone should be proud of their work in this most successful challenge.

Ha! I think those were the three that I voted for. Congrats to you all. Gary - I don't think I have ever seen someone take such a meticulous approach to modeling something as mundane as a concrete bridge. Well done!

Congratulations Gary....I knew that was mostly a foregone conclusion..!!!
And Scubadude did a most excellent job...I'm surprised he didn't come in second-his shack was well worth a better finish...
Everyone did a really superb job....I'll let out a secret....I voted Gary #1, and Sumpter's #2-also a really great effort.
I'd like to thank all who participated and voted. I'm really proud you considered my r'house worthy of a second place finish....

Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments.
I gotta say that hanging out on Big Blue for the past few years has done wonders for my modeling. So really, everyone gets a huge dose of credit! And I believe we can all say that each and every one of us gain from participating here on the forum.
Also want to throw a big congrats to Steamtrains and Scubadude for finishing on the podium. And I thought S-two-fiddy's boathouse was a great entry.
And for real, it boggles my mind that I can hang with you guys in these contests!
