The trip was spectacular, with an added bonus that we were featured in a commercial for the Royal Gauge Railroad. My step-son and I might be on telly-vishun! I'll try posting the pics this afternoon.
![]() OK, here we go - This is Shay No. 8 on disply in front of the old CAnon City Depot that is now home to the Royal Gorge Railroad. ![]() This was my ride, an F7A in the RGRR colors. ![]() The new (rebuilt/refurbished) excursion cars recently added to the RGRR roster. ![]() Sitting in the left seat awaiitng the signal to proceed. Entrance to the gorge ahead. ![]() Into the Gorge. ![]()

Deeper into the Gorge. ![]() Some of the remains of the old wooden aqueduct pipes to Canon City. ![]() ![]() Somebody had to blast some small tunnels for these piepes. ![]() ![]() The famous Hanging Bridge. We dropped of the film crew and then did a couple of roll-by's for thier benefit. ![]() |
