Wow, the year is flying by.
Let's see what I have accomplished...
Well, March and April have been written off as far as the CVR is concerned as I was assisting with the MC&H Central, a display layout in our shop. http://www.muskokacomputes.com/Shop-Layout.html
As for the CVR, let's check the current "To Do" list:
1. Put decoders in 6 locomotives.
2. Two locomoives to bash into one.
4. Check couplers and weight on 12 pieces of rolling stock (and counting).
5. An 18cm high by 62cm long trestle to build.
6. About 34 structures to build (so far).
7. Scenery to do on a 5.3sq metre layout.
Hmmm!!!
Very little changed, except I did check out about 24 pieces of rolling stock and clear them for use on the CVR.

That's what makes this such a great hobby - always a few things to be done. Err... a TON of things to be done. Stay with it, Will!

yeah, if you don't have anything left to do, it's time to tear down and start over

Right you are Gary. Kevin beleive it or not, yesterday I was thinking and measuring to see if I could make a change or two and have a second level. I was thinking on doing the Cataract to Elora Branch.
Only way I think it could be done is to go down, but that would make the lower level too low and I do not think I would be able to raise the existing layout 45cm without alot of hassle, so I will leave it the way it is.

No David, my home layout is not finished enough and they said the shop, located between two lawyers offices was not in a secure enough area.

Thanks Drew
Yes Gus, you are correct, and the one on my right is going into politics.

I will be moving from my apartment to a house, so I am having to tear down the existing Credit Balley Layout and will be starting over.
The new location will be a little larger, going from a 3M x 3M space to a 3M x 5.5M space. With the extra space, I am planning a pyramid helix (from an article in N Scale Magazine). The second level will consist of the branch line from Cataract to Elora.
The layout is coming down now, the move will be in June and plans will start soon after for building the new benchwork.

Hi Will,
Glad to see you back! Sounds like good news too...?! Tearing down is hard, but the move to a bigger space and addition of branchline sounds fantastic!
Cheers,
Andrew
