Not really. I count 15 posts in the train forums there in the past 24 hours. Here I see where we've had 151 posts over the same time period. On a daily basis, we are now doing about what we used to do about two years ago when we were still a separate train forum. Those records were wiped out when we got combined, but after that, we slowly dropped from about 300 posts a day, including the card forums and some of the others that were being spammed on a regular basis, to around 100 a day, still including these other forums.
We are pleased with the activity here since we opened.

Many stores and businesses are open for some time before their 'grand opening'. So when does THE_GAUGE have its' grand opening, with discount prices?

We had balloons, clowns, free hot dogs, popcorn and soda, and we offered free memberships to everyone and anyone that showed up. Just like Sam's Club, we offer discount pricing all day and every day to all our members. We're a step up from Sam's Club in that we're open 24/7, and they're not.

EZ...Why wasn't I advised of the freebies on opening day...Here I had to pay for dinner that day....
I drop in every now & then to the ol' forum, and I do see a dramatic drop in the activity over there.... As K. Vonnegut would say..."So it goes"....

It's bin a few weeks since I've checked in over there, but they were still running the same picture of the month from last summer.

All we had left were tube steaks by the time you showed up... Look, to make up for it, we had two Grand Slam breakfasts for you at Denny's last Tuesday. I hope you remembered to go get them there.

Yeah, Mikey or I used to change the picture of the month at least ever three or four months :ugeek: . Right now there's no one there that has any concern, and we no longer have access to things like that there, so the "picture of the month" now becomes, "picture of the year"... or longer...

Yep, and we've tried over and over again to get Mikey to behave, but no, he insists that since he graduated, "magma come real-louda", from clown school, he can act accordingly.
