I believe they came from a leasing company, but at a time that the WSOR was very short on motive power so repainting wasn't very high on their priorities .
All were from the Milwaukee Road
MP15AC 1501 4/1500 11/1975 ex-SOO 1557, nee MILW 491
MP15AC 1502 4/1500 10/1975 ex-SOO 1541, nee MILW 475
MP15AC 1503 4/1500 10/1975 ex-SOO 1542, nee MILW 476
MP15AC 1504 4/1500 11/1975 ex-SOO 1561, nee MILW 495
MP15AC 1505 4/1500 11/1975 ex-SOO 1549, nee MILW 483
MP15AC 1506 4/1500 11/1975 ex-SOO 1562, nee MILW 496
But only one (1501) had be repainted by the lease company, into a kind of yellow.
It was nick named Colonel Mustard
