Greetings, gang.
It's sunny but very cool this morning in the remote reaches of northern Iowa. Right now the temp is 43 degrees. Quite a change from Monday's high of 100. The expected high for today is 74. There's finally some rain in the forecast. Tomorrow evening there's a 70% chance of rain. Not enough to break the drought but at least I won't have to water for a few days.
Yesterday I spent most of the afternoon cleaning up acorns. Oak trees are nice but the acorns sure make a mess. Today's agenda includes a trip to the gym this morning and installing the new shower door this afternoon.
