Funny thing is they are so smooth runners and look so nice with their tiny verandas like the SD38-2 I would like to use them on a post year 2000 layout too. Looks like some are still in use in the US. Need to dig deeper into the current SW1 use in the US. e.g. Cloquet Terminal Railroad looks interesting to me. Anyhow SP zebra SW1 look strange on any todays layout (2nd photo).
