Hi Ralph,
I read that entire thread and got some great ideas from it. I still need to implement most of them, but the good part is that this camera isn't very good resolution so many flaws go unseen.
I haven't got past the background building stage yet. And then there are trees and shrubs. I have tried the idea of stuffing and gluing foam to the plastic loom material and that works great. I have a large leaf bag full of foam to grind and color that my daughter got from the upholstery shop where she works part time. I even found some great wire wheels for my drill to grind it with. I even have more material for the furnace filter trees as well as a bunch of copper to make armatures for hardwood trees. I should be able to keep busy all winter, just with landscaping. At least you don't have to cut the lawns every 4 days on the layout.
I picked up a new foster furkid the 20th of October and I found him a home in Baltimore. The lady that is getting him will get him just before Thanksgiving. He is an 8 month old pup and has really disrupted things around here. He is a real love bug but got off to a rough start. He was in 4 homes in the past 2 months. My girl gets along fine, but our little male is a real grump and I have to keep him away from Beck, he just doesn't like to play anymore. So the layout is in limbo for another week then back at it.
