Best wishes with the foster pup! I can imagine the little fella requires some attention that might take you away from the layout. You're doing a great thing with that foster pet plan. Friends of ours here just starting doing something similar and already love it.
I'm thinking of breaking out that cheapie video camera again for another train-cam video. I need to learn how to edit scenes for a YouTube video so I can alternate shots from my cab mock-up, to shots from a trackside observer's perspective, to some from "inside" the loco.
