Don't feel bad, Matt - we've all been there. Don't forget, this is a hobby, and there are no deadlines. Unless of course you're having people over to see the layout, hehe.
In fact, that is a pretty good motivator. Another is to pick one project and work on that. Forget all the kits that aren't getting built and just focus on the one that is.
