Steve, thanks for your comments. Rebuilding a layout and revisting ideas isn't an easy task. We've got a lot of harsh criticism recently from visitors and it's nice to see virtual ones have more empathy! ;-) I'm pretty satisfied with the new rebuilding process. We've learn a lot from experience and it's nice to know better what we are doing.

Question to any body.

Carnadière Road overpass needs lots of stanchions to make the railing seen on old pictures. I mean something like 180-200 stanchions. The most suitable ones would be 10mm model boat 3-ball stanchions. We are talking here about over 200$ of investment... for pedestrian railing!

I'm looking either for alternatives or a way to buy them in bulk, not just in small 10-pack. Any ideas (other than solderings thousands of brass parts)?
