According to the Freericks book, the "Vernon team" is actually Ancon Transportation <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://local.yahoo.com/info-20435023-ancon-transportation-vernon?csz=Vernon%2C+CA">http://local.yahoo.com/info-20435023-an ... rnon%2C+CA</a><!-- m --> which I would guess is a transload operation and is probably the consignee for loads going there. It may have been an ATSF or BNSF team track in prior years. When I mention Ancon Transportation, I'm referring to what you call the "Vernon team".
