I often thought about these sets as a Broad Gauge - The 5 -7 FOOT gauge or Narrow Gauge with O-Scale mechanisms and trucks under them-. And or placing some of the track within ones existing layout to represent a long forgotten remnant of a Broad Gauge Railroad!
