I am only aware of black rubber bumpers under the dock and a rubber/fabric frame around the dock acting like a rain coat etc. sealing the gap between truck and building while loading/unloading.
One segment of the road became concrete covered. An easy way to distinguish between the road and the privat property on both sides.
