Freelance 2014-2
Those new buildings look good and the painted treatment has given them loads of realism. I looked on a few kits back in the 90.es and was not that impressed with them but they were out of the box and unpainted and you could not really see all the details on them. I guess I am to have a second look now as my interest has moved to early diesel era with some kind of Downtown switching. The work you do is lighting fast but the results are allways very impressive. Your sence for detail is right as the level is perfect. Not under detailed or over detailed, the balance is there and it is dead on.

For myself, I have been Eye balling on something that is as I said a switching layout on shelves where at least one will have rather generous depth in it to able to add some peak in scenes and trackage that gives you a suprice. when I was working on the ferries in the Baltic, I did once or twice walk or drive around the free port of Stockholm and it was cool to see some sidings that ended some 90 degress towards the main track. And I have had a very close look on Milwaukee beer line and MILW has been a favorite line, yes I have the book and have had a cunning plan as I was intending to add some more variety to the FM-switchers that served the line and mix them with some genesis GP9s. I also am looking on various terminals in New York, but then again I like the zebra stripes on Santa Fe units and and it would be cool to have a layout on Santa Fe without their trade mark units like war bonnet stream liners and such. But then again I might have to move and have to settle with some general planning on the project. But these threads of yours are very inspireing and gives me laods of ideas. Thanks for taking time to share us! Greetings from Sweden!
