Since you mentioned a cement plant as being a possible large industry for the right side of your plan; I managed to make a few updates to the plan you posted showing how I'd end the runaround track and include such a facility.
It's loosely based on the Essroc Cement Plant in Speed, IN (on the LIRC/SIND railroads). Here's a Google aerial view of the plant: https://www.google.com/maps/@38.4097275,...a=!3m1!1e3. The plant is switched at least twice a day by the SIND and ships the cement outbound in covered hoppers and also bagged in box cars. There are no inbound shipments of anything as all the materials are mined on site. These are very large facilities so it's really scaled down in size, but should work on your layout, if that's the sort of industry you're looking to include.
Not working with N Scale or being used to dealing with cm/mm dimensions, I have a time visualizing how everything would fit and probably getting my track spacings correct; but here's my attempt at updating your plan to include this facility:
Not sure how many N scale cars would fit on each track; perhaps 4-50ft box cars and maybe that many covered hoppers on the other track. You'd have to allow for the covered hoppers to be moved through the shed for loading. Guess you'd need a small fleet of the appropriate two compartment covered hoppers for the bulk cement and of course a fair number of 50ft box cars too, which of course could also be used by other customers on your layout.
Just my 2 1/2 cents worth.
