Stephen, getting rid of Imperial Oil really gave a more realistic setting. Don't forget tank cars can still be spotted at the team track or other places that can fit the bill. I think the general arrangement makes a lot of sense and fits the prototype pictures you shown us so far.

Since your RSC-14 have 3-axles trucks, just try it on a mockup piece of track to make sure it works correctly. From experience, this is near the limit radius for unproblematic operation.

I think at this point, it will be more productive to fudge the track plan directly on the benchwork. My reasoning is that once working with real track, we always find ways to tweak things to get larger radius here and there by adjusting it until we find it looks good. Since you are kind of protofreelancing that shelf layout, you should take this opportunity to tweak small details. Maybe a few industries will move a few inches here and there. That way, you'll be able to get that balance between industries and the scenery zone you wish to implement between them.

Just a suggestion that can be worked later, but I would suggest to place Gulf Oil where is the team track and place the team track along the yard, near the layout edge. My reasoning is that reaching Gulf Oil actual location will be a little bit hard. Also, moving it will make it easier to scenic the area as a whole between the yard and the other industrial location. Just my two cents.
