Faller Car System

I've been trying to do some research but mostly everything is in German. I've seen a bunch of videos on YouTube but again it's a lot of European modeling. The best example I could find is this video... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l51iwWIj6Os How does this work? How does the vehicle continue over rails, is the guide wire under the ties is there a break in the guide wires at the rails? What keeps the vehicle from driving into the train while it's crossing the road? I'm basically wondering what exactly is needed to complete the same scenario in the video, parts, info etc etc.. Thanks.

Hi Rscott417. Yes the car follows the guide wire. That is exactly it.

I did a search in YouTube like you under "car system Faller 2014".
I found hundreds of Faller Car System in German, French, Italians and British.

The one that will answer all you question is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-REcSIlnvAs
It is in english and it explained how they do it. At 4:20 all is revealed.

Cheers
