know one asking you to retract any thing you've said, that's your opinion and I know there's a lot of truth in what you say. but surely this type of situation would crop up some were in a RR life time.

They would probably make the train up in the yard, with cars either end of the loco (depending which spurs want switched) then propel the train.(I can do this with the model)

it's a long time since anyone said, are you still playing with your "choo choos" Thumbsup

I always bow to superior knowledge Worship and hope to take on board any comments, but sometime you've got to use a bit of modellers licence in certain situations , and the average person at a exhibition would not think about, what it would cost to run 2 locos, , all they want to see is something moving , so if I have 2, more the better.
