That is the problem with those shapeways trailers the plastic is to ruff to make stainless or aluminum trailers out of them !!!!! too much $$ & too much time & work !!!! Still waiting for so Company to mass produce them !!!! :?:

I remember a discussion here at Big Blue about (grain) bulk trailers some years ago. There was one company in the US that had built them. One of the forum members had a contact to the owner and got the answer that the bulk trailer have been discontinued and no further production is planned. That bulk trailer was of good quality but the price was high too (+ shipping + tax for me). The virtually hopeless situation made me try the Shapeways product but your conclusion is absolutely true and valid.
