Finally had an opportunity to do some painting today, and managed to get a little weathering on this Atlas/Branchline reefer, which I first posted a couple of weeks ago:

I've also been working, sporadically, on this Tangent 6,000 gallon tank car kit for some time. I replaced much of the plastic brake rigging, along with the walkway handrail using phosphor bronze wire, and also added cut levers and airhoses. The real time consuming part, though, was applying the lettering. It was done with mostly Champ alphabet sets in various sizes, along with Champ and Microscale data. There are 168 individual pieces of decal on this diminutive car:
