This photo, taken moments after Ed's of the CN diesels on the bridge, shows Illinois Central's 800653, SANDFORD FLEMING (II), a track inspection car re-built from a Wabash leg-rest coach. The blank-looking end right next to the locomotive is a roll-up-type door to protect the full-end picture window when the car is in-transit:
