And Bruce has proof that this locomotive was still 3004 in 1994 when, according to Don Ross it was supposed to have been renumbered to 3018 in April of 76, and isn't listed on the rosters I have found. So possibly Bruce will know the real history of this unit. (I hope) The one I have pictured was Conrail 3281.
