Hi Charlie---the above picture was taken from the Catherine St. bridge looking east at the CN mainline which runs through the centre of Hamilton.The siding is an industrial spur line heading north which services numerous industries along Burlington St.in the north end as well as the east end industries of Hamilton.Although not as busy as it once was when it was under CNR control it is still an active line now serviced by SOR---Southern Ontario Railway (part of the Genesee and Wyoming network)
