Sorry for the lack of work and updates. Our cat took sick and we've been running back and forth to the Vet for the past week.
I did manage to finish up the underframe and brake system:

It's not the greatest representation of a K-brake setup but once painted and weathered it will look allot better than nothing. Before adding the brakes I added some scale Kaddee couplers and drilled the bolsters for truck screws so the coupler height could be set before the underframe is painted.
