Thanks for the update Steve. I can't figure why you are allowed to paint drivers, but you aren't allowed to paint couplers because it might hide a crack. My FRA inspector loved seeing trucks painted silver because he said you could spot a crack instantly because it would bleed rust. I would think if that is the case shouldn't they require couplers to be painted silver....
