We ballasted the track with wood ash & dirt, painted the bed of the stream black, & started adding some foliage...

We've got sort of a "tree factory" set up in the garage...it's gonna take a few of 'em!
The good news is that the other side of the layout is going to be a quarry scene, & it'll need more rocks than trees!
That's about as far as we've gotten for now...hopfully more updates soon!
