The Wreck of the Night Owl at Chester, PA ; January 29, 1988

The wreck occurred just after midnight. Train 66, the Night Owl from Washington, struck a peace of MOW equipment on Track 2. The tower operator at Hook Tower failed to throw the switch for the Night Owl to go from Track 2 to Track 1. He was later found to be under the influence. The only injury was to the engineer.
