BIG GAP between posts but lots of progress has been made in that gap. I usually post most of my updates on the WRRy Facebook page but keep this and my Zealot account updated from time to time as I have contacts I like to hear from on both.
The railroad has a real home now, I purchased a home in 2021 and 1/3 of the basement is home to it. Over time I have all of the benchwork and roughly 2/3 of the track laid, all in a 19' by 23' room.
On top of layout stuff, I've been tasked as chief mechanical foreman for the Paper Valley Model RR Club, a fireman at the real life Whiskey River Railway and helping restore the Dardanelle and Russellville #9 at the Mid-Continent Railway Museum. Needless to say my grey hair is coming in quickly as time is limited. I've also acquired a FDM printer to help bring more unique creations and/or unique repair parts to life.
