Good morning folks

It is currently 55 with a predicated high of 74.

Friday after work I had to take my wife to the Urgent Care facility to have her leg looked at. She had fallen on Monday and had been in pain ever since. They examined her and took X-rays. Luckily there were no breaks, or chips. Basically, she needs to ice and rest the leg as much as possible. Saturday, we took a ride to the post office and PetSmart. Since her leg was bothering her we cut the errands short. Later I coordinated the dinner pick up run with a trip to the grocery store. Sunday we hung around the house doing small odds and ends. Monday was another home day, however, my wife got outside to harvest some herbs from her garden.

I had a good modeling weekend. I was able to paint the roofs for the station platforms I am redoing. The current platforms unfortunately took a fall from the layout and are no longer repairable. I painted the metal floor frames for four old Roundhouse kits. I Dullcoated the Subway Entrances and finished assembling them. I added the entrances to the layout and placed foliage and a couple of trees at the Bridges Area. I placed the track across the bridge. I did not get to run any trains but given all the other work I was not unhappy about it.

Tonight I need to move some laundry around. I hope to run a test train across the track on the girder bridge. If all goes well I will tack it down. I want to add some more foliage and some other details to the scene if I can find where I stored them.
