Good evening.
I did a little work around the place but not much then I decided an afternoon nap was in order so I had a 2 hour snooze outside in the lounge area.
Gas is down to 2.89 a gallon and I am getting scared there is something fishy going on.
It is cool here this evening with a low predicted in the low 40's. I want it to stay warm in the evenings for at least another month.
I finally got around to "loading" the 40 coal hoppers I built in the spring. I had plenty of black beauty to do the job and there is enough left for 40 more. I do have 8 or 10 more to do but I want to renumber them first, they all have the same numbers and that isn't prototypical for the most part, although I know of a shortline that got 2 cars with the same number and the same kind of load. It was a billing nightmare because the second car did not exist. I also worked on the flat car for the Kiski tourist train.
