Good morning all.
Just got back from a 2 week road trip loop in Colorado. Rode the Durango & Silverton, and took the Pike's Peak Cog RR train to the top. Both of them worth the money, and the scenery over 1400 miles of windshield was just stunning.
My prior knowledge of narrow gauge and mining in Colorado was only superficial. Particularly interesting was the whistle signaling between the double-headed locomotives.
