Thank you.
I got my shingles!
My Friend Darryl at Interaction Hobbies made me up 7 sheets of his shingles. He uses these in his kits but made me these up as a favor.
I drew guide lines onto the roofs.
Then I carefully cut the small tabs that hold the shingle strips into the sheets until I have a decent pile.
I use Scotch double sided tape to stick the shingles down. I know others use white glue but I perfer the neatness of the tape. after a couple hours the tape becomes permenet. I have other projects that I built almost 10 years ago ans the shingles are still down.
Starting at the bottom of the roof I lay down a strip of tape, then start to lay down the shingles.
It's a bit tedious but I moved my operation to the computer desk so I have a podcast running at the same time to keep my mind busy. This was about an hours work. I still have the other side of the main roof, the office roof and the car shed to complete.
