Greetings, gang.
It's comparatively balmy this morning in the remote reaches of northern Iowa. Currently 10 degrees heading to near the freezing mark. A warming trend will bring temperatures into the 40s next week according to our very good friends at the National Weather Service. Quite a change from the brutal cold of this past week.
Not much going on around here. Due to the cold weather I've even skipped the gym most days this week. I do plan to go today. Also need to make a trip to Menards for some new rechargeable batteries for my Xbox controllers. They seem to be running dry after only a couple of weeks of intermittent use.
Gas was $2.89 when I was out and about yesterday.
