The Hobo Camp Fire Is going well #X.. Stop In!!!
Good afternoon folks

It is 41 but with the wind it feels a lot colder. Our high is supposed to be 42.

We are still dealing with teething pains with the new boiler and the old pipes getting along. We are experiencing hammering in the pipes which is affecting the heating of several radiators. I had service techs at the house twice this week and it longs like when I get home I will be calling again.

We had some excitement on the rails in my old neighborhood. A SEPTA commuter train caught fire and burned on the Northeast Corridor. The train was stopped and evacuated at Crum Lynne which is the station I used to use when I lived in that area. Luckily there were no injuries.

On the layout I was able to run some trains this week and do some clean up.

The weather will dictate what gets done. They are calling for the full mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain for Saturday afternoon and evening. I need to put the bins away that hold the Valentine Day decorations. There is a back log of laundry due to the fact that with the heater issues I have not been able to use the washer and dryer all the time. I need to run to the pharmacy, and grocery store.

I would like to continue adding scenery to the layout and ballast some more track. I need to finish assembling the replacement passenger platforms which will replace the damaged ones. I may try to build a few more kits. I need to do some organization and clean up the layout. I have a bunch of rolling stock that needs to be put away. Greenberg Train Show is in Wilmington, DE this weekend. I would like to go but confidence is low.

I hope everybody has a good day.
Tom
