It's been hovering around freezing all morning, got a dusting of snow which started on my way home from the park with the dog.
Finished the last layer of static grass in the foreground area I'm working in the gorge, took some pix.
My granddaughter (who will be 2 in May) is apparently big on the words "Pop Pop" and "Choo Choo", so I've been fielding a bunch of Facetime videos from Texas with the top half of her head. Been running trains for her to her delight. I also showed my mom the finished Hazleton a couple of nights ago via Facetime. Sometimes tech can be pretty cool.
Day off from work. The last few weeks as a supervisor of government employees has been difficult. A lot of conversations we don't generally have, and I worry a great deal for my younger engineers and technicians. A lot of brooding which leads to a lot of long nights.
I'm gonna try to get the paints and brushes back out later this afternoon to paint rock faces, and depending on my supply of plaster rocks, I may get the molds out as well while I watch the battle for last place in the Big10 basketball - Penn State hosts Washington in what will probably be a pretty ugly basketball game.
