Good morning folks
It is 29 currently with a brutal wind blowing at 25 mph with gust at 50 mph. High today will be 35.
The winds were a lot stronger yesterday with gusts up to 70 mph. We lost power about 5:30 PM yesterday afternoon and it was restored finally about 8 AM this morning. The winds destroyed our backyard gazebo. I am not to upset over it as it needed replacing any way. Rust from being out there for the past 12 or 13 years had taken their toll on it.
Before all the fun began, we did our errands over the weekend at the pharmacy and grocery store. We did some early spring cleaning in the dining room by moving a couple of pieces of furniture and cleaning where they were. I was able to get some laundry done.
I built some Accurail kits on Saturday. On Sunday after the power went out I actually worked on converting the couplers from McHenry’s to Kadee’s on four Athearn/Roundhouse chemical tank cars. I also added screws to the coupler pockets.
My power outage work set up.

When I get home from work I will be taking a walk around the property to see if anything besides the gazebo was damaged by the winds.
I hope everybody has a good day.
