Thank you everyone.
With the painting done, all that was left was some detail painting and re-assembly
   

The 70 tonner had stainless headlight housings so I masked around them and hand painted.

   

I reassembled the 70 tonner first. I did have to open up the mounting holes for the handrails just a bit and then they just dropped right in. I did something a bit different this time and used matt medium to secure the handrails and other details down. It ended up gripping very well and it dries flat and almost invisible. 
The window glass in both engines was a challenge as they are a friction fit.

     

The RSC-2 went together a bit easier with the handrails slipping in with no real difficulty. I did have to use cut-down Kadee coupler boxes so I could convert the engine from the horn-hook couplers.

I do have an atlas RS-11 that I have plans to convert to a PGE RS-18 in the future.
