The color scheme is called "Gulf Oil". Gulf Oil's truck were orange and blue at that time.
The letter board says "Ogontz" on the bottom line. That would make the trolley line the Route 23. The line ran from South Philly through North Philly, Germantown, Mt Airy, and Chestnut Hill. At the time it was the longest trolley line in the world.
