How do I isolate a skew wound open frame motor in Bowser K4 kit? Bowser told me the skew wound motor would work for DCC. But, I have ruined 2 previous decoders (Digitrax) with this install. The issure is a 1 1//4 inch 2 56 screw that goes through the magnet and then attaches to an S shaped brass motor mount. I cannot locate a 2 56 nylon screw on the web (all are shorter than this). I can build a replacement motor mount out of styrene (sort of) but am at a loss as to how to mount the the motor. Current draw is .5 amp a full stall, so am confident of this motor. thanks, Andy
