... I am now working on the eastern PA Turnpike on demoing the toll booths....

Why are the toll booths being removed?
Just wondering.  We don't have them out West.

I finally have a chance to look over the forums.

As far as the toll booths/plazas, the PA Turnpike went to Open Road Tolling from Reading to New Jersey on the East/West Turnpike and the entire length of the Northeast Extension. Open Road Tolling is gantries that are located on the mainline that take photos of your license plate or read your EZ-Pass. From the Ohio State Line to Reading this information is still collected at gantries locate at the interchanges/toll plazas.

I took out a couple of Lehigh & New England RS-2 Proto 1000 locomotives to run them. They have not been on the layout for close to 20 years. They started out rough and had to be helped along in a few places but within 15 or 20 minutes they were running good. I am going to need to run them longer I think to get them to run smoother and I may have to do some lubing.
