Well good day gang.

     We here have had some difficult times since Christmas but we are starting to snap out of it.  My wife is slowly recovering from Guillain-Barre syndrome. She has gone from completely paralyzed on Christmas Day to today she was able to fight her way through making a pot of chili. 

     I am starting to gain some strength finally but I still can't walk more than 200 feet at a time. I have been in a funk for a couple weeks and yesterday I decided enough was enough. I went to the train shed determined to assemble the details on one of the C30-8s I have been working on. I discovered it was missing a few detail parts so I made them and at 1:45 AM I put it on the track and took some pictures and test ran it. I have to put a shield inside to stop the headlight from shining out the cab windows and I will put the decals on the number boars and touch up the white on the hand rails, but it was enough to break the funk.     All I need now is a good 8 hours of sleep.

Thanks everyone for being here, true friends like here on Blue are really rare. 

I am praying for all of us to have a peaceful world and finally find the cures for all of the horrid diseases preying on us.
