Good evening folks
I finally got into the office this morning. I was able to catch up on a lot of the paperwork. I am still waiting for them to open up the project on the computer so I can begin to enter the information directly into the program.
We may be working Monday night so I might have to adjust my sleep schedule. The contractor is implementing the temporary traffic control in the Norristown PA Turnpike Interchange. They will be placing temporary concrete barriers and shutting down three quarters of the toll booth lanes. The toll booths have been closed for a while since the Turnpike went to open road tolling. Since we must paint lane lines and other pavement markings we need to keep an eye on the weather. There cannot be any rain since we cannot paint a wet roadway.
It looks like we will be making a few errand runs tomorrow such as the post office and the pharmacy. My wife may want to stop and pick up some flowers to replace the pansies that are currently in the window boxes. Saturday is the Delaware County Pride Festival. My son is the main organizer. We will be on call for any last-minute needs. Sunday we will most likely go out for Fathers’ Day dinner.
I am hoping to run the Western Maryland BL2 and make a video. Last evening I dug out two Proto 1000 Lehigh & New England ALCO RS-2 locos. They have not seen the layout for 20 plus years. I tested them and they ran rough in the beginning but within 15 to 20 minutes they were running smoother. I want to work with them over the weekend.
Charlie glad to hear that the recoveries are coming along.
I hope everybody has a good evening.
