Greetings, gang.
Cloudy and 74 with 99% humidity. High in the 90s with very high humidity. Heat index over 100.
Productive day yesterday. Got the yard mowed, took a bike ride, and trimmed the bushes along the sidewalk. I also got the rear derailleur adjusted on the bike but decided not to take it for a test ride due to some rain in the area. I made a wise choice as about 15 minutes later we had a thunderstorm with lots of lightning, wind thunder, and 3/4 inch of rain in a rather short time. I did get one of the two area rugs I was expecting yesterday. Hopefully the other will arrive today or Monday.
In other news I had an entertaining dream last night. I had ordered three area rugs for the living room and two had showed up. True to this point. Here's where it goes off the rails. The third one arrived the next day in a long box rather than the plastic the other two had arrived in. Delivered by UPS rather than FedEx. My late wife was also here but very much in the background, as in I knew she was in the house but I never saw her. Then the dream transition to a friend arriving with two tickets to a Taylor Swift concert. We attended but the only thing about the concert was that he somehow had a prior connection to her and she presented him with a birthday cake shaped like a castle and looking like it was made out of Legos. The candles were sparklers. Swift never actually touched the cake. it was on rails and was slid out from the side of the stage. Then the concert was over (I never did hear any songs) and people started to leave. As I looked around I noticed most of the people were middle aged or older and most of them were asleep. Thant's when I woke up.
