Greetings, gang.
Another hot one in store for today with a high predicted to be in the low 90s with very high humidity making the heat index rise into the low 100s. I'll definitely be hiding indoors today.
Yesterday was pretty quiet. I did get in a 14 mil bike ride and got the laundry caught up. The remainder of the day was spent waiting for the area rug that never showed. According to the FedEx web site it appears my rug is lost somewhere in Kentucky. Maybe they'll find it tomorrow or Monday.
I did have an unusual experience Friday night that I forgot to mention yesterday. Normally I sleep through the night without interruption. For some reason I woke up about 1 AM. I noticed there appeared to be a light on downstairs. When I went to investigate I discovered that a seldom used computer had started up about 10 minutes prior. It was not in sleep mode, the power button has to be pushed to start it up. Very mysterious.
