To me, it looks "amercan-ish".

I think the jaguars had a more pronounced grill but could be wrong.

stand out features to me:
shape of the hood - especially the lower "shoulders" below the main triangular shape
horizontal grill a bit too small for most makes - example compared to Buick.
lack of a shoulder shape on the back wheelwell.  This feature to me seems most likely to fit in a Jaguar interpretation.

But I really don't know.  But I do think it is a good representation of an American car 1948- 1954.  Pre-tails styling obviously.

My 2 cents.

nice modeling overall.
