Good evening folks

I know I have been absent for the last couple of weeks. Some of the reasons were due to work. We worked a few nights and one weekend along with several long days. Over the last couple of weeks, I have not felt like myself. I was feeling worn out and I was blaming the working hours. I was also experiencing some bladder issues beyond the normal issues I sometimes have with an overactive bladder. A visit to the urologist resulted in undergoing a couple of tests. One result of the testing appears that my prostate maybe enlarged. Things came to a head over the Labor Day weekend. I woke at 5 AM Saturday morning freezing and shivering. I was running a temperature of 100.7. I was bouncing between the chills and the sweats. I spoke with the doctor, and we determined that I had a nasty urinary tract infection. I was feeling so bad I did not leave the house the entire holiday weekend. I am finishing up the course of antibiotics and I do finally feel almost my normal self. I have one more test to do next week and hope to have some answers as to what has been going on. Of course, just to make things even more stressful my wife and I are scheduled to leave for vacation in two weeks.

Since I am feeling better there is some vacation prep running, I need to do this weekend. I have to run to AAA to order some Euros. I need to start packing before the wife fills up all the suitcases. I am still not permitted to do any heavy lifting so most of the yardwork is out of the picture.

I am hoping to run some trains. I would like to assemble either some rolling stock kits or start working on building kit.
