Finally got some time to finish off the enginehouse. Starting with the roof
I used some square basswood to fill the roof gap, then I finished the shinges.
I added window glass to the clestory and painted the smokejacks with some weathered black. I glued the smokejacks in and used some clamps to keep them straight-ish while the glue dried.
After that I glued the clestory to the roof with some epoxy.
I used some leftover stripwood to make some trim around bothe the smoke jacks and the clestory. These cover the shingle edges and fill in some gaps. I painted them in a red-brown.
