I finished it off with a light weathering:
I airbrushed some vallejo rust on the truck brake assemblies and springs, followed by an overspray of polly-s Grimey black and vallejo dirt. I airbrushed the fuel tanks in polly-s grimey black followed by an overspray and drybrushing of vallejo dirt streaking it down the sides of the tank. I also gave the walkways, steps and side sills a spray of dirt. Whlie I was at it, I airbrushed a pair of Kadee's in two shades of Vallejo rust for the customer.
The pilots also had grimey black and dirt applied to them. I used some flat black on the tips of the stacks and a light spray on the top of the hood and cab to simulate diesel exhaust.
The customer wanted a working but well maintained look.
