Good very late evening folks
It has been some time since I’ve posted to the Hobo Camp Fire. I have been busy and there has been a lot of things happening.
Work has been crazy. The contractor is behind schedule and now has put a bunch of resources toward catching up. We have had some more night work and they have added another interchange to the mix. We now have five of seven interchanges under construction with temporary traffic conditions. Just before Christmas the contractor was working 50 plus hours a week. Winter is the perfect season to do demolition since it is not temperature dependent.
At home it has been the heater again. We were dealing with hammering in the pipes and 5 non-heating radiators. Then just to make things even more exciting we had another leak in a pipe. After numerous visits from repairmen from two different plumbers, we have the leak fixed, less hammering, and only finicky radiators. As a result of the leak repair the layout is inaccessible for the time being as it is surrounded by stuff that had to be moved out of the way.
I have been building some rolling stock kits over the last couple of weeks and plan to build some more. If all goes well tomorrow I hope to go to the Greenberg Train Show in Oaks, PA. Over the weekend we will be working on taking down the Christmas decorations.
I hope everybody has a good night.
